Where is your office located?
Do you offer video or phone sessions?
We offer video sessions for clients throughout California.

Office hours are M-F 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
How long is a typical session?
Individual sessions last 50-55 minutes.
Couples sessions are either 60 or 75 minutes.
How often do we meet?
You will see the most benefit with weekly sessions. After all, breaking patterns and learning new skills takes repetition.
Meeting less frequently may feel appropriate down the line. You can discuss this with your therapist, and they can give you their recommendations.
What is the hourly fee?
Our hourly fees range from $180 to $300. We also have a limited number of sliding-scale spots available.
Do you accept insurance?
Weaving Stories Therapy and its clinicians are currently paneled with Aetna and Optum/United Healthcare. We are considered out-of-network for all other insurance plans. We are happy to provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. You can check your out-of-network benefits using the Mentaya tool here. Alternatively, you can call the customer service telephone number on the back of your card and ask the following questions:
- Am I covered for out-of-network mental health services?
- Is there a deductible I need to meet before being eligible for reimbursement?
- What is the reimbursement amount or percentage for seeing an out-of-network provider? (You may have to provide them with the following procedure code: 90837 for Individual sessions, 90847 for couple’s sessions)
- Am I covered for tele-health (aka tele-therapy)?

What apps make your life better?
Monica –
My Notes App for just about anything – to-do lists, grocery lists, ideas, memories, quotes, workouts, etc.
Yuka – analyzes the ingredients in food and cosmetics and provides recommendationss on healthier substitutes.
Apple and Google Photos – for sharing and compiling pics with friends from a get-together, vacation or other event.
Jojo –
Definitely my notes app, for when ideas come up and i need to write it down quickly
My google calendar app, which has made planning with others much faster
I also like Duolingo as a fun and interactive way to learn some Spanish.
Meghan-
Insight Timer – free meditation app with 1000s of meditations. I use it to help me fall asleep and often recommend it to clients.
CamScanner app – for taking photos of documents and uploading/scanning easily
NYT Crossplay app – it’s like Scrabble or Words with Friends. It’s great when I need some quiet time but still want some mental stimulation!
+1 to Monica and Jojo’s recommendation for the Notes App! I also sometimes just text message myself notes if I need to jot it down in the moment.
