About Monica Ramil, LMFT & Founder

Sticking to old patterns is no longer working for you.

You’ve felt stuck for too long and are now ready to take a bold step toward change.

There’s a growing willingness to begin the journey of learning, unlearning, and embracing personal growth.

The effort you put into transforming your relationships and how you show up in the world can have a profound impact on your emotional well-being.

I provide a supportive space where you can openly explore your struggles and focus on nurturing your mental and emotional health.

Together, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back, create meaningful insights, and build a foundation of strength and self-awareness. My goal is to empower you to better understand your feelings, develop healthier coping strategies, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

I specialize in supporting Filipina/x/o Americans, 1st/2nd Generation Immigrants, BIPOC women and couples, and helping them work through stress, guilt, boundaries, and intergenerational trauma.

Many of my clients are juggling multiple cultural identities, which can bring a unique set of pressures and conflicts, particularly when trying to balance personal desires with family expectations.

Through a deep exploration of identity, cultural backgrounds, and the impact of upbringing, clients gain invaluable insight into how these factors shape their behaviors, relationships, and emotional experiences. This process not only helps them understand their past, but also empowers them to shift old patterns and develop healthier, more authentic ways of relating to themselves and others. By addressing intergenerational trauma, they can begin to break cycles and create new, healing pathways for themselves and their families.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply committed to being culturally sensitive.

I work alongside my clients to help them reach their goals, always ensuring they feel heard, supported, and seen throughout the process.

I value social justice and am passionate about decolonizing practices, creating space for each client to embrace their unique journey of self-discovery and healing.

In my free time…

I love being outdoors, hanging out with my partner, our three dogs, and watching our little one grow.
