You’re seeking more ease, joy, and liberation in your life.
Maybe you’re navigating an upcoming or recent divorce, you’re blending families, or you’re bumping up against challenging family dynamics. Maybe you, or someone in your family has recently been diagnosed as neurodiverse and you’re wanting to learn coping strategies and how to navigate school systems and/or social dynamics. Maybe you’re unpacking a multicultural identity and examining the ways in which colonial systems continue to impact you in your day-to-day reality.
I work with multicultural, neurodiverse, genderqueer and questioning individuals, children, and their families.
For individuals:
As a neurodiverse, multicultural clinician, I understand the complexities of navigating the complex waters of anxiety, depression, ADHD, divorce, remarriage, step-families, half-siblings, and blending cultures, especially when there are children involved. I have worked with children, parents, and teachers in schools and nonprofits for the past 15+ years. I have a working knowledge of public and private school sectors and believe in wrap around support between parents, schools, and mental health clinicians.
For parents/caregivers:
Maybe you want your child(ren) to have the space to create, play, and meaningfully process big feelings. Maybe you’re wanting to help them figure out how to process really big emotions in a safe and meaningful way that keeps you, and everyone around them, sane. Let’s chat.
I balance joyful play with care, attention with intention, and empathy with client-led, clinical creativity. I advocate with and for children, always. I believe in decolonizing adulthood and childhood and am still actively learning (and unlearning) what that means for myself and my clients.
Let’s co-create a more joyful future, together.
In my free time, I am surfing, outrigger canoeing, or laying in the sunshine with my dog. I may also be working on a new and exciting hobby that I will surely enjoy and eventually abandon in six weeks’ time.
